Lovers of Alpine traditions and unique flavors, don’t miss this event in Bruson. Meet the alpine pastures that transform summer’s blooming meadows into Valais Raclette AOP, the golden treasure of the peaks.
Enjoy tasting and chatting in a festive and friendly atmosphere, and leave with a whole wheel of cheese – or simply a smile. With sizzling raclette, concerts, and entertainment for all ages, it’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the richness of our alpine pastures with family and friends. It’s a timeless moment filled with the aromas of cheese, mountains and simplicity.
On Sunday 8 November 2026, Bruson will also host the second edition of ‘Lo Pan Ner‘, the black bread festival, at the heart of the Alpine Cheese Market. Communal bakeries from across Valais will be present to share their passion for rye bread through live baking demonstrations, tastings, socialising and a competition to find the best wood-fired rye bread. There will also be a showcase of our alpine products. The pairing of freshly baked black bread and alpine cheeses will take centre stage: simple, authentic… and absolutely delicious!
