Rapper, cellist, and producer, Elias D is a 24-year-old, versatile artist from Valais. A fan of sampling and acoustic textures, he blends his various musical influences into compositions over which he raps and sings lyrics that are sometimes socially engaged, sometimes cathartic. Inspired by artists such as Swing, Primero, Nix Northwest, Gotts Street Park, and Aupinard, his music can be described as instrumental hip-hop you might hear in a jazz club.
