Cavalier Seul, aka Lars Isler, found his inspiration in Sweden on the island of Gotland before returning to Switzerland. With a stripped-down guitar-and-voice setup, he delivers poetic, melancholic, and deeply human indie folk-pop, blending American folk, new wave, and bittersweet French pop.
